Horse head monster

A little personal project of mine after a long pause. This creature is inspired by a mythical being from the Slavic bestiary known as a "horse head". It is a pre-Christian creature that closely resembles a horse skull, distinguished by the addition of tiny legs. Often encountered at crossroads or near cemeteries, it was said to frighten travellers and block their path. It was believed to spread disease and was therefore avoided at all costs. According to folklore, witches would bury a horse head near the home of someone they disliked to bring illness upon the household's inhabitants.

In my design, the skull is fused with a horse collar and a carriage wheel, while a fleshy, organic body and limbs have replaced the creature's tiny legs. The model is game-ready, with 26,352 tris and 13,467 vertices.
